No, This Site Won’t Hack You

This site is built to look like an early 2000s Hollywood hacker site, inspired by the early web, Web 1.0, and the golden days of custom MySpace profiles. It’s meant to feel like something an individual created, not a corporate template.

You could see ASCII skull art, animated mosaic backgrounds, flashy colors that don’t match, and an edgy aesthetic, but don’t let the look fool you, this site is safer than most modern social media platforms. Unlike big websites that track your every move, I avoid all unnecessary cookies and tracking. I don’t even log your public IP address, which is common practice elsewhere.

Many people assume that a site with a "corporate" look is safe and an old-school aesthetic is sketchy. That’s judging a book by its cover. In reality, flashy frameworks and polished CSS don’t guarantee security, what matters is how a site actually handles your data.

This might just be one of the safest social media sites online. No ads, No invasive tracking, no shady data collection, no bloated JavaScript frameworks, just a site that respects its users. Your browser’s built-in security does more to protect you than any "clean" design ever could.

If you ever have concerns, don’t rely on looks, inspect the page, check for warnings, and review your browser's security settings. Fact is, I can’t even autoplay music on this site without your permission. That’s how much control modern browsers give you.

Moral of the story? Trust the code, not the cosmetics.

What is kcore.online?

A social media platform is only as interesting as the people on it.

Bring your friends, let’s hang out! Together, we are the community, and we are what makes this place great.

Welcome to kcore.online: A minimalist, ad-free, no-tracker social platform built on freedom and transparency. Simple by design, crafted by Amosnimos

This site isn’t falling into enshittification, crapification, or platform decay. No shady algorithms, no locked features, no endless ads, just a straightforward, user-centric space built for real interactions. No corporate greed, no hidden agendas, just the web as it should be.

As passionate individuals, we’re driven by the spark of discovery, the joy of finding something incredible and wanting to share it. Whether it’s a bold opinion, a deep philosophy, or just something undeniably awesome, we all have a need to connect, to express, to celebrate what makes us human. Sometimes, it’s through long debates and sharing ideas; other times, it’s as simple as agreeing that something is amazing.

For creative minds, there’s no feeling like bringing something new into the world, a game, a book, a song, an idea. You pour your soul into every detail, hoping it will resonate with someone out there. But sharing it can feel like running into endless barriers. Forums reject you, groups silence you for self-promotion, and platforms drown your voice in algorithms. All you want is to share your work, your thoughts, or your discoveries with people who care.

That’s why kcore.online exists. It’s not just a site; it’s a celebration of creativity, passion, and unapologetic opinions. A place for dreamers, creators, and thinkers to share, connect, and thrive. Whether it’s through art, discovery, or debate, this is where we come together to say, “This is awesome.” Or not... we won’t tell you what to think.

Making the Web Cool Again

A social platform is only as interesting as the people who use it. Bring your friends and let’s hang out. In a Minimal cyberspace, free from corporate soullessness. Welcome to kcore.online: a simple, ad-free, tracker-free platform built on freedom and transparency.

kcore.online origine

It started as a website I made to host an elaborate online game I had planned. But it turns out, making multiplayer games is hard. So, accidentally, it ended up becoming a social media site instead.

Times were tough, and I couldn't afford the server costs, so I shut it down. But when I told a friend about the project, he said, "That's awesome! I can pay for the server hosting." So here we are, back with a new domain name: kcore.online.

Honestly, it’s just another attempt at creating something genuine, a place where people can chat online without the influence of ads, tracking, or corporate control. It’s simple, ad-free, and transparent, respecting the community that uses it. This is a space for creators who live and breathe their craft, a haven for fans who crave deep dives into what they love, and a sanctuary for those who want to spark real conversations about the world around us.

I don’t want to use complex captchas like 4chan, nor do I want to moderate and censor content like Facebook or other authoritarian platforms. The site will evolve based on the needs of the community.

Disclaimer: I don’t know what I’m doing 😅. Things will change, rules will evolve, and stuff might break. Accounts could be accidentally deleted, posts might disappear, and the system could shift unexpectedly. Just roll with it. Making an account is easy, and writing a post is too—so if something happens to your content, remember: it’s the internet, and everything here is temporary. Keep that in mind.
